首先進入Windows Live Messenger的設定網頁：
http://settings.messenger.live.com/applications/WebSettings.aspx
先將「允許在網路上顯示您的 Messenger 狀態，並可傳送訊息給您」選項勾選並儲存設定，
若沒勾選這個設定，即時通訊控制項便不會起作用。
接下來點選左方的「建立HTML」，
裡面有許多選項可以設定，如果部落格版面空間夠大，可以直接放「即時通訊視窗」，
即時通訊視窗可以改變大小與顏色，但是最低寬度限制是300，雖然自己修改語法可以達到更小的寬度，
不過因為看不到驗證碼而變得無法使用，因此不建議把寬度再往下修改。
如果寸土寸金可以改放「按鈕」，按下一樣會開出即時通訊視窗。
最後將下方的語法複製並貼到部落格或網站就大功告成囉！
